Kinja'd!!!

I sent an FB message to Blipshift regarding a curiosity:

Dear Incredible Blipshift,

Your shirts are awesome. I see them on Jalopnik all the time. I want most, if not all, of them. But due to my freakishly long torso, like most shirts I find online, I can't get them in my size of large-tall. Any chance you guys will be offering sizes for weirdly-shaped humans at some point?

Hopefully hooning, Andy

I didn't hear back from them, so I wondered if they were ignoring it or too busy. Nope.

Dear More Incredible Andy,

The Blipshift IT department sincerely apologizes for the delay in response to your inquiry. We thought* we had responded to you last week as a message was sent, but this message must have been intercepted by the dark ninja message interceptor team. In checking back, we see it never went through. Because of this, the BS IT department now has a sad.

Any-who, we greatly appreciate your feedback! While we don't have immediate plans to offer Large-tall sizes, we are constantly looking to improve our product offering. Your feedback will be provided to our product dev team and we'll make sure that they take your words into consideration as they evaluate other shirts. In the mean time, ninja training has begun for Team Blipshift.

Hai, -Team Blipshift

Predictably cool. It's a bummer about tall sizes, but perhaps if some other owners of similarly strange torsos also submitted their pleas, we could someday get LT added to the sizing chart. Still, the message cracked me up. What a clever, fun business. Cheers, Blipshift.

LT would be pretty awesome. I don't like the bagginess of XL and Tall can get dicey sometimes if the shirt gets washed and dried a few times.

I would love to see taller shirts in general. I (now that I lost some weight) am back in a medium, but have a longer torso. After a few washes (and low heat dries) my shirts start to get closer to my waist line. I'll be sure to reach out to BS as well about this.

This should be their first plus-sized shirt.

I wear XL tall. Nobody carries that. Shirts get larger and taller with each size until XL. xxl becomes xl-fat. There sre more 6-3 people than thought.

Large tall I feel your pain. Some people just don't get our plight of wanting shirts that fit right.
My wife, you know that's not going to be long enough, go get a bigger one. And the big and tall section is usually to big. Good luck I will send them a mail too.

I'm 6'3", but my torso is normal-sized and it's mostly in my limbs. So finding long sleeve t-shirts is a pain in the neck. Many XL shirts are the same length as L's, only fatter. It's stupid.

TALL, LEAN PEOPLE EXIST, SHIRT COMPANIES!

Yeah, XL can be tall enough sometimes, but as I don't have a gigantic gut, they're like ponchos to me. I usually buy plain colored tees from Oldnavy.com, as they offer LT and have a pretty decent selection. The shirts fit great and last forever.

That reads a lot like the message I sent to them a while back. I'm 6' tall but have a 30" inseam, so I'm squarely in "freakishly long torso" territory.

Of course, since I've lost weight, I now also have the "problem" of needing an XL or XXL for my Scottish wide shoulders (46" chest), but ending up with a billowing cloud of extra fabric around my waist since as others have said, XXL is usually just "XL Fat."
